What customers say?

“ I went there for lunch. I wanted to eat skirt steak, but it was sold out, so I ordered the set meal. It didn't come with soup, so I ordered oxtail soup. The meat was tender and delicious. I think the lunch price is reasonable considering it's a private room yakiniku restaurant. ”

“ Reason for Visit → Family dinner. What was it like? → The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and all the seating was private, making it easy to visit even with children. The cake cost an additional 2,000 yen if you brought your own, which was a bit of a concern, but the service was good and the food was delicious. Recommendation for Next Visit → All the seating is private, so it's easy to visit with children. (The seats are sunken kotatsu tables.) Personal Recommendation → Premium Pork Loin & Garlic Rice ”

“ I wanted to have meat for lunch, so I visited for the first time at lunchtime. The rooms are private, so you can relax without any worries. The small Japanese-style courtyard is also stylish. The meat itself is delicious, as expected. I had never tried charcoal-grilled bibimbap at the main store, so I ordered the bibimbap course. The portion may be small for younger people, but it was enough for older people like us. I would like to visit again with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. ”

“ Yamazaki has an image of being a high-end yakiniku restaurant. All rooms are private, so families and groups can enjoy yakiniku at their leisure. They offer reasonably priced lunches. In the summer, we recommend their cold noodles. The konjac noodles have a great texture. ”

“ The atmosphere, food, and service were all top-notch! [Food] This time, I had the Yakiniku Kaiseki Course [Tsurumi]. It was a carefully crafted course from start to finish, with each dish, from the appetizer to the meat, perfectly executed, almost like a traditional Japanese kaiseki meal. The charcoal-grilled meat in particular was fragrant, with exquisite fat and tenderness. The balance of the sauce and salt was excellent, truly highlighting the quality of the ingredients. [Atmosphere] The restaurant is set in a private room, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing meal in a calming atmosphere. The lighting and interior are elegant, making it perfect for special occasions and anniversaries. [Service] The staff were attentive and discreet, even subtly adjusting the timing of cooking. [Access & Parking] Parking is available. The restaurant is easily accessible, making it a great place for family and friends. ”

“ On a Sunday at the end of May, while dropping my kids off at their respective homes, we decided to have dinner together, so we went to Bungo Sumibi Yakiniku Yamazaki, located just off the Oita Mitsuyoshi Interchange on the Higashi Kyushu Expressway. It's located just a short distance back from the Mitsuyoshi Interchange, rather than heading towards Oita city. I forgot to take a photo of the restaurant, but it has a different feel from your average yakiniku restaurant, and the entrance might require some courage to enter. We took off our shoes at the entrance and were shown to a private room. The private room overlooks the beautiful courtyard, making it perfect for celebratory occasions. We placed our initial order with the staff, and any additional orders were placed on a tablet at the table. We ordered drinks for three people and the beef tongue platter that I always order first at yakiniku restaurants. After a five-minute wait, the beef tongue platter was brought out. It was immediately grilled on the grill. The crunchy exterior and the juices oozing out as you chewed... It made me want a beer (though as a driver, I'm alcohol-free). After the beef tongue, we ordered a special omakase platter, a platter of three kinds of kalbi, a platter of three kinds of rare cuts, white rice, and hot stone bibimbap, and each order was a hit, with the natural umami and sweetness of the meat all plentiful. I was a little concerned about the price since I walked in without doing any research, but every dish was delicious and I think it was worth the price. I'd definitely like to return to Bungo Charcoal Grilled Yakiniku Yamazaki on a special occasion. ”

“ We went there to celebrate my child's graduation from kindergarten and his entrance ceremony. There was a fair variety of meats and a variety of rice dishes as well. My daughter loves tongue, so I was happy to see a tongue platter. It was presented with three types of tongue, and it looked beautiful and tasted great. There was also a platter of three rare cuts, and all the meat was very easy to eat with just the right amount of fat. My only disappointment was that the liver didn't have much flavor and the heart was a little frozen. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the service of the staff were great, so I'm looking forward to going back again. ”

“ The store has a very impressive appearance. There is a shoebox to the immediate left of the entrance, and it's interesting that you can lock it by removing the wooden board. The room is a private room with a sunflower mark, and is used for yakiniku. The charcoal is in blocks around the perimeter, but the center seems to be binchotan charcoal. You order first via intercom, and then it's a touch panel system. The meat was very delicious. The yukhoe is a bit of a problem, but... well, it's beef, so I guess that's the only way they can serve it? ”
